In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to help support my Aunt Lynne’s family during this difficult time. My cousin Lori devoted the past several months to caring for her mom full-time, sacrificing work and income to be by her side. So many have asked how they can help, and this is one way to wrap love and support around the family as they navigate this heartbreaking season. Every gesture, prayer, and contribution is deeply appreciated.
Update from Lori:
I want to take a moment to thank everyone for the incredible love and generosity that has been shown. It truly means more than I can ever express.
While Mom did have Medicare, she did not have life insurance, which means all of the remaining hospice costs, medical bills from her final year, and other end-of-life expenses have been left to me. On top of that, we’ve also discovered unexpected home and vehicle expenses she wasn’t aware of, things that continue to add up quickly.
Losing her has been devastating, and trying to manage all of this on my own while grieving has been overwhelming. This fundraiser is helping me stay afloat and take care of what she left behind.
If you’ve already donated, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you’re considering it, please know that even $10 truly helps.
Mom would want something good to come from this, so I hope her story reminds everyone how important it is to have life insurance and to plan ahead for the people you love. 🤍
