I happily worked at Dunkin Donuts, till Sept.25th 2023. After closing just like any other night, on my way home from work I was struck by a car while on my  scooter. I was hospitalized with broken ribs and many bumps and bruises for 5 days. During the process of being checked for internal injuries, it was discovered that I have colon cancer that has spread to my stomach . I was released after 5 days with a whole new outlook on life, only to get sick a few days later and landed back in the hospital with a bowel obstruction where the mass on my colon had to be removed by emergency surgery, which also removed some of my bowel and my appendix. A port was placed in my chest and I start Kemo treatment this first week of November. I lost my only transportation and have many appointments to get back and forth too. I have been out of work and have bills piling up. All money donated would go towards getting transportation and regular expenses, transportation, and medical.
