Howdy y’all!
We’re fundraising to support Landon’s participation in the President's Day Challenge in Dallas, TX. The President's Day Challenge takes place February 13th through 16th. It is known as "The Largest Youth Hockey Tournament in Texas". Please consider contributing to our fundraiser (of course no worries if not)! Our goal is to reach $1,000, which will pay for his entry fee and lodging over the long weekend.
Personal Note:
We strive to find ways to give our kids the opportunity for positive life experiences. Being a part of this program has already helped Landon shape himself into a strong, talented, disciplined young man - on and off the ice.
Fun Fact:
Landon has been playing hockey for the Austin Metro Hockey Association (AMHA) for a little over a year now. He is on the travel team called the Ice Bats and the house team called the Texas Rising Stars (TRS). The Texas Stars are the local AHL affiliate team of the NHL Dallas Stars. The TRS program is really professional and he is ready to play at a higher level.
The Texas Stars rink is across the street from his AMHA rink, which is called the Crossover. The kids go to the Texas Stars games and even have their end of season party there. Very cool!
