As we come to the close of the year, I wanted to share an update and, most importantly, express my deep gratitude to everyone who has already supported our family.
I’m ending this year preparing for another medical procedure to replace my stent after experiencing ongoing complications that have caused extreme and persistent pain. This has been an incredibly difficult stretch, physically and emotionally, and it’s not how we imagined closing out the year or stepping into the next one.
Earlier this year, we made the difficult decision to prioritize our family’s well-being by leaving my position at Charter Networks in order to access better healthcare. While that transition was necessary, it has left us with significant medical debt from managing my chronic illness, ongoing treatments for SLE, and caring for my son’s multiple intestinal conditions. Despite doing everything we can, we are still facing outstanding medical bills totaling nearly $25,000, which continues to limit our access to essential care, palliative support, and nutritional resources.
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to take important steps forward — including approval for more affordable care and the possibility of receiving critical treatment at home, which would allow me to continue working while caring for my family. However, this opportunity depends on reducing the medical debt that’s still standing in the way.
If you’ve already donated, please know how truly thankful we are. Your support has meant more to us than words can express. If you’re not in a position to give, we completely understand — but if you’re willing to re-share this fundraiser as we move into the new year, that alone would be an incredible help.
We are still very short of what’s needed for upcoming procedures, infusions, and palliative care, but we’re holding onto hope and gratitude as we keep moving forward. Thank you for standing with us, for your kindness, prayers, and continued support. It truly makes a difference.

In June of 2024, a decision was made to prioritize my family's well-being by leaving my job at Charter Networks for better healthcare options. However, this transition has left us with significant medical debt, particularly from accumulated bills related to my chronic illness care management and caring for my son's multiple intestinal conditions. Despite efforts to manage these costs, we find ourselves in a dire situation with outstanding balances of up to $25,000, jeopardizing access to essential nutritional resources and medical services. While approval for more affordable healthcare services has been granted, the looming debt prevents us from receiving the care we urgently need. A recent blessing has presented itself - the opportunity to receive essential treatment at home, ensuring I can continue working and caring for my family effectively. However, this hinges on clearing our outstanding medical bills. Your generous donations can make a profound difference in our lives, allowing us to access vital medical care, treatments such as Cyclophosphamide infusion (for my SLE), and necessary nursing support. Your support will not only help improve our health but also enable us to maintain a sense of normalcy amidst these challenges. We are deeply grateful for any contributions, prayers, and continued support from our friends, family, and wider networks. Your kindness and generosity can truly make a difference in our journey towards better health and well-being. Thank you for considering supporting us during this critical time.

The journey is far from over. I still work daily. I’ve been to the ER and had a few small medical emergencies resulting in an ambulance along the way. Still going still pushing through. Thank you all
