I'm raising money to help my sister with my little pup nephew!
Hello, I hate to do this but we don’t have much of a choice unfortunately. A couple weeks back we noticed Tucker walking very badly with his back severely arched, so we took him to the animal hospital with suspicions of it being IVDD (a slipped disk in his back) and unfortunately we were correct. He was put on pain medicines, steroids, and muscle relaxers which all seemed to help when he was on them, but with a recent vet visit today due to his walking and overall health deteriorating again we were told that we have to take him to a neurologist ASAP as he most likely will need surgery. The vet bills have already cost us almost $500, and just going to the neurologist alone to get him seen is $395 and with research we found the IVDD surgery costs between $1500-$4000 without including MRI’s, X-rays, and aftercare. This pup is my best friend and I would do anything to keep him healthy and happy, as I know he would do the same for me. It’s breaking my heart to see him in such pain. I’m asking for help as it all is very expensive and unfortunately was not a cost I was expecting to have to pay or be ready to pay. We appreciate any and all help, and are more than grateful. Thank you. The over all cost after the emergency neurologist today was 7600$
