Meet David — a devoted stepfather, loving Pawpaw, and faithful husband who has always been the rock of our family. He’s the kind of man who quietly shoulders every burden, works tirelessly, and puts his loved ones first.
But now, David is facing the fight of his life.
In 2019, David suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Miraculously, he survived — but his heart was severely damaged. Despite his declining health, he has continued to work, love, and support his family, even while silently battling worsening heart failure.
Now, David is in end-stage heart failure and urgently needs a heart transplant.
Before he can even be placed on the transplant list, David must undergo a series of life-saving procedures:
✅ June 26: Heart Ablation to control life-threatening arrhythmias.
🔜 July 17: Right Heart Catheterization — a key step in his transplant evaluation.
🔜 August: LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) surgery — a mechanical heart pump to keep him alive.
➡️ Next Step: Heart Transplant — his best and only long-term chance at survival.
All of this is overwhelming. But what weighs most heavily on David’s heart is the fear of not being able to provide for his family while he’s out of work.
