Recently, a dog named Lil G from down the road became a victim of a hit and run, leaving his back legs badly injured. His family, like so many others, is struggling to afford the vet bills that have suddenly been thrust upon them. The estimate for Lil G’s care include x-rays, surgery, wound care, bandages, a splint, antibiotics, pain medication, and the visit fee. No family should have to make the heartbreaking decision to put their dog down simply because crisis strikes and they can’t afford the care. Many people in our community are just getting by day to day, and unexpected emergencies can be overwhelming.
That’s why we’re starting All Pawssibilities K9 Rescue—a community-driven emergency reserve fund. Our goal is to help Lil G right now, and then build a safety net for other dogs who may face similar emergencies in the future. Every dollar donated goes directly into a savings reserve used solely for unexpected veterinary expenses and critical medical care. We don’t have a shelter building or corporate overhead; we’re just community members stepping up to make sure funding is saved and ready the second a dog needs help. Your support will help Lil G get the care he needs, and ensure that no family has to face these challenges alone.
