Hi, my name is Sergey. I'm the owner and operator of DNA Carpentry. I've been working as a carpenter for about 9 years, and I truly love what I do. I just recently started DNA Carpentry, about 2 years ago, and have been fairly comfortable. Three weeks ago, my truck broke down on the side of a country road around 10:30pm. The battery gave out on me, easy fix. So I called a friend, got a ride home, and planned to be back in the morning to replace the battery once I stopped by the auto parts store. The next morning I got back to my truck to find it broken into, vandalized, and to find all my tools missing. A few buckets of random trash was left behind. I had 75% of my tool arsenal back there! My chop saws, table saw, jigsaw, sawzall, compressor, multiple nail guns,my pouches, hand tools, sanders, routers, multiple bags of everything that made me function as a carpenter. I've been tooling up for years and now everything is gone just like that! This put me to tears! The truck needs extra work done now and I need to be able to keep working. I don't have much of a savings and am a little behind on my monthly bills so I definitely don't have the extra money to just spend on brand new, or even used, tools! This really hit me hard, knocked me down! I don't know where else to turn! There aren't many people I can lean on to help me out and I definitely don't want to burden anyone. As we all know, the bills never stop and I need help to be able to get back to work. I feel ashamed to even have to beg for help from people.
Please, I could really use the help to get me back to work and pay off my truck repair bill.
