My name is Lupa, I'm a singer, actor, dancer and writer from Querétaro, México and I'm in need of your help to be able to continue my education in the US.
I started my education journey in 2020 at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. Here I spent some of the most amazing years of my life studying Musical Theater. I graduated in 2022 with a certificate in Musical Theater and was able to obtain an extension to my student visa to be able to keep working in the country for one additional year.
During that year I was able to accomplish so many things. I did my first professional acting contract in the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in New Hampshire; worked in numerous movies and T.V. shows just like Billions and Wu-Tang: An American Saga; participated in Off-Broadway productions with Theatre Now New York as Box Office and House Manager; worked as a Stage Manager for the senior production of Music Man at Lenoxhill Neighborhood House; started my career as a model participating in campaigns for Penguin Random House, It Gets Better and Puma; among many other projects.
Now that my working year has come to an end, I only have one thing in mind and is pursuing my Bachelors degree. On March 2023 I was accepted into the Musical Theater program and Writing for the stage program at Marymount Manhattan College. I am pursuing a double major in this institution planning to start in the Fall 2023. I received a 16,000 dollar Presidential International Scholarship and a 4,000 dollar Theater Arts Award. Although these scholarships are incredible help for me and my family, they aren't enough.
Due to the pandemic, my family and I have faced a lot of economic set backs, and it has come to a point were I am unable to afford my education. This is were I ask for your help! I'm asking for help to be able to fund a part of my tuition, so my family and I can recover. If you know me, I am always looking out and helping the people I love and now I really need your help.
All donations will be going directly to my tuition. I promise I will be fully transparent and give updates of my journey. If you help me you will have the eternal gratitude of me and my family. I will never know how to thank anyone enough for helping me pursue my dreams. Without your help, I am unable to go back to the United States.
I had always been very constant and passionate about my dreams and I love the life I have been able to create in New York City. I am proud of my progress and proud of representing the talent that Mexico has to offer in the world. I want to perform, create and write stories that represent my beliefs and country. I want to show the United States what Mexico and I are capable of. I would be eternally grateful if you could help me pursue my education and dreams.
