My Story
I’m going to be honest—this might not be the “typical” way to do things. But neither has my journey.
I’m a mom of three, a full-time student, and a soon-to-be first-generation college graduate. I’m also serving as Vice President of an honors society—something I never imagined for myself years ago. My path hasn’t been straight or easy, but I made the choice to change my life, and I’ve been pushing forward ever since.
Now I’m stepping into the next chapter: continuing my education in psychology and building a career where I can truly help others.
Here’s the reality though—education is expensive. The tools we need to succeed in this field aren’t always accessible, even when you’re doing everything “right.”
Right now, I’m working toward getting a DSM-5-TR, one of the most important resources in psychology. It’s also one of the most expensive.
So I’m asking for help—openly and without shame.
If this isn’t something you agree with, I understand. But if you believe in supporting hard work, growth, and someone trying to build a better future—not just for themselves, but for others—I would be incredibly grateful.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing the DSM-5-TR. If there’s anything extra, it will go toward other school-related expenses as I continue this journey.
If you can’t donate, sharing this or even just encouraging me means more than you know.
Thank you for being part of my story.
