Eric's huge heart and amazing sense of humor have been part of so many of our lives for so long. Over a decade ago he had, for simplest terms, a brain hemorrhage. Something very few people survive. It left him with limited mobility on his left side, yet it's never stopped him from wanting to work, laugh and love his family.
Jack, Emma and Alora have been so blessed to have these two as parents and so fortunate that Eric made it through all his health related obstacles. Nicole has worked tirelessly to make ends meet for their family while continuing to help with Boy Scouts, work overtime watching the children of our local sports while their dads play for the Penguins, Pirates and Steelers.
Unbelievably, Eric was also born with poly cystic kidney disease. All of the medications he's had to take has taken their toll and he needs a new kidney. All but one of his siblings also have poly cystic kidney disease. His brother Nick is generously, selflessly, is giving Eric one of his. (Hero!!)
