My name is Dontasia. I’m a single mom of 3 children. 8, 5 & 7 months old. This past year has been one of the most challenging of my life. While on maternity and medical leave for most of the school year, I used up all my savings to keep my family afloat. Just as I was beginning to get back on my feet, I was in a car accident, through no fault of my own.
Unfortunately, I was upside down on my loan, so the insurance payout only covered what I owed, leaving me with no car and no funds to replace it. As a mom of 3 and with nursing school starting soon (classes are 45 minutes away), having reliable transportation isn’t just a convenience, it’s a necessity.
I’m raising money to get a safe, dependable car so I can provide for my children, get to school, and work toward building a better future for us. Every contribution, big or small, brings me one step closer to stability and peace of mind.
