On January 27, 2023, Three dogs escaped from their home In Angola, IN. Ozzy (The dog of subject) was walking around our town and was hit by a car that drove away. The dog was left on the side of the road and was then found by an amazing woman who took him to the local humane shelter where my friend and his father picked him up and did their best to stop the dogs bleeding by bandaging the wound. The then drove to the nearest emergency vet clinic in Fort Wayne where they were able to get the dog in a stable condition. The doctor told the family that Ozzys metacarpals are open fractures in the front left leg. This requires either amputation or surgery. And this surgery could be life saving for the dog. Please.
