Astra recently got an opportunity to start a new career in Austin, Texas. While this is very exciting, and potentially life changing, it’s also financially burdensome, as she is still playing catchup from the last move.
Medical bills, car trouble, and other ill timed events have made the prospect of moving to a new city virtually impossible. This is where we come in. Everyone has had some kind of help getting to where they are, and she deserves no different. Even a small donation would go a long way.
Astra has given so much to the community over the years from sold out comedy and burlesque shows to poetry and art , and never asked for anything in return. I’m sure she’s even bought you drinks, or given one of her famous thrift store surprises. She wouldn’t even like me doing this, but the truth is, she needs it.
