My mother was a strong, loving woman who raised three boys on her own with very little income, always putting us first. After a long and difficult battle with cancer, her health was improving, but her life was tragically cut short due to what we believe was negligence during a hospital procedure. Her sudden passing has left us heartbroken and overwhelmed, not only emotionally but financially as well. We are now facing significant expenses, including funeral costs, unpaid medical bills, and the need for a probate lawyer to protect her home and assets from her estranged husband, who we haven’t seen in over 15 years. As her children, we’ve done everything we could to care for her, but with limited resources—I was laid off before her cancer returned, and my brothers work low-paying jobs—we’re struggling to cover these unexpected costs.
