August 26th, 2023, I am independently hosting a gala to fundraise money for NAMI (non government-funded) which support Mental Health Illness and Suicide Prevention. Ideally, I'd like to break even on the expenses while also being able to contribute to the cause (hence this fundraising page), but ultimately if it comes down to it, I would rather eat the costs and give to agencies which save lives because this means so much to me.
The event is public and everyone 21+ is welcome, they just need purchase tickets. I appreciate any and all help in making this a spectacular night for everyone and hopefully helping some people feel heard, validated, and understood.
