Hi! I'm Chris - Deb's first cousin. Many of you know me or Deb. Deb has been in a fight against ALS for some time. If you have been following her she hasn't been able to speak or eat for over a year. I don't know how she does it but she is definitely one of the most positive people I know all while dealing with this stupid disease.
Many of us want to help but have no idea how, what to do, or just live to far away.
I am running a half marathon in Central Park In New York City in April. I'm not going to lie - running 13 miles at one time kind of sucks but to be honost nothing like dealing with ALS.
I'm running this for Deb....and I want to do it as a fundraiser for Deb! A half marathon is 13 miles. If everyone donated $13.00 (that's a dollar a mile) we could raise some cash to help Deb and her husband with any expenses they need.
100% of the money raised goes directly to Deb to purchase medicine, supplies, help with bills, or just to buy a pretty new shirt!
Deb is a role model for so many dealing with something that just plain ole sucks.
