💧 The Project: Sweet Water for Life in Gaza
Led by Samer Al Ghoula, 22, Deir Al Balah
For 22 months, Samer has survived genocide, displacement, and unimaginable loss. Originally from the Shija’iyya neighborhood, he was forced to flee at the start of the war and now lives in Deir Al Balah, Gaza. Despite everything, Samer refuses to give up.
He’s not just surviving—he’s serving.

Through his grassroots initiative, The Project, Samer is working to deliver life-saving essentials to the most vulnerable families around him. His first mission: bring clean, drinkable water to 60 families living in displacement camps.
🚚 The Plan
Samer has access to a water truck that can carry 2 cubic meters (2,000 liters) of sweet water. In Gaza, water is measured in cubic meters—each one equals 1,000 liters. The cost of one cubic meter is now 250 shekels or more, due to skyrocketing fuel prices.

This truck will deliver 2,000 liters of clean water to families who have no access to safe drinking water. That’s enough to provide relief to 60 families in desperate need.
🎯 The Goal: $600
This amount covers:
- Water cost (2 cubic meters)
- Fuel and delivery
- Platform and transfer fees
🆘 Why Now?
Israel has announced plans to occupy Gaza City and force over 1 million people into a **43.5 square kilometer zone**—a space already devastated by war. The situation is dire. While world leaders remain silent, young Gazans like Samer are doing everything they can to resist, persist, and protect their communities.
This is not just a fundraiser. It’s a lifeline.
