After spending decades bravely working as a forest firefighter, protecting our land and communities, this wonderful gentleman is now retired and facing significant health challenges. Through the years, he has quietly held onto one simple dream — to take a road trip and see the ocean just once in his life. He has worked hard and saved what he could, but rising heating costs and basic living necessities have forced him to use much of those savings. With his health declining, time is precious. We are hoping to help make his lifelong dream come true by easing the financial burden of travel so he can finally stand on the shore, feel the ocean breeze, and experience a moment of peace and fulfillment that he has more than earned. If we are unable to raise enough funds for the trip, or if his health prevents him from traveling, any donations received will go directly toward heating his home and covering his basic daily necessities. Any support, big or small, helps bring comfort, dignity, and hope during this season of his life.
