- Gary is a proud 61 year old Texan...he organized fundraising softball music events and golf tournaments for 30 years to help people with illness, loss from fire, accidents, and did promotions for local charities. He served the citizens for 20 years as a Public Servant and also in the Texas State Guard Army Component.
- Now he's found himself in need of help....
- He lost all his savings during the Covid shutdown helping a family member survive, pay all their bills and paying all of his while they were both laid off. He is down to a part-time job paycheck to pay all his bills including rent, auto insurance, medications and medical bills, etc.
- Texas is expensive to have any kind of home in, he does not qualify for government housing and with his savings gone cannot make the necessary deposits for a place to live and his job does not pay enough to keep the rent paid. He also applied and was denied Disability that he needed due to his progressive deteriorating health conditions.
- He also lost two months pay in January and February due to a surgery he had to have that doctors thought may have been cancer related. During his recovery he lost the rest of the money he had to bills, medications, doctor visits, etc so he basically had to start over at 61. He had to cancel his medical insurance because he could no longer afford it. Now, even with the previous insurance that he had, even with his co-pay he has thousands of dollars of medical bills he cannot pay.
- It has been hard on all of us since Covid. If you would like to help those who helped so many others please consider making your donation. Thank You.
