Family & Friends,
As most of you know, our dear friend, brother, mentor, & colleague Manuel "Yogi" Torres has been fighting Diabetes for the past decade + but what a lot of you don't know is he just recently got an infection, which spread pretty quick and lost part of his Right foot, but it was caught in time before he lost his leg. He's been in the healing process for the past 6 weeks or so, but do to this Yogi will no longer be able to return to work in the Oilfields his current stage of healing or health, let alone his good Oilfield job in Texas.
Our goal is to be able to raise a decent enough nest egg that Manuel and his family will be able to pay his mortgage and other bills until Yogi is hopefully well enough to get back to his passion and what he knows and that's Oilfield Flowback. It is sad to think but There is a strong possibility that he will no longer be able to do the type of work that Yogi made himself a name for. An industry that took a guy who we all know did quite a bit of time, to becoming a successful man who became a manager for at one time was a very successful Oilfield well testing and Flowback company and eventually working for himself becoming an independent contractor in Texas. By all accounts, and I know better than anyone that Manuel is truly a success story! He's an example of no matter what your ethnicity, background, education, or even if you come from poverty, that if you apply yourself, work hard and keep your nose clean, that anyone can be all that they want and can be here in the beautiful US of A!
With that said though, Manuel cannot work at the moment and I would like everyone to come together and put forth anything you can to help Manuel be able to make his bills in the coming months. I understand with inflation, fuel prices, and this economy that it is harder than ever to be able to give, I know Christmas is just around the corner as well and it's not cheap, but if we could get in the Christmas spirit by giving, and know that ANYTHING you can give will help and I truly mean that! My goal is to raise $10,000 but whatever we can raise will help Manuel and his family TREMENDOUSLY!! I just want to thank you all in advance and know that Manuel & I both are very grateful for all of you and we love all of you very much!!
