My name is Cody, and this fundraiser is in loving memory of my best friend, my travel buddy, and my fur-son, Hin — a 12-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who walked beside me through every chapter of my life.
Hin was strong, loyal, and endlessly loving. For years, he fought bravely through declining mobility and other health challenges. I did everything in my power to support him — lifting him, carrying him, traveling with him, and making sure he was never alone. But eventually, his body reached a point where it could no longer keep up, and continuing would have meant prolonging his suffering.
Letting Hin go was the hardest decision I have ever made — but it was an act of love.
This fundraiser is no longer about treatment or recovery.
It is about honoring Hin’s life, his love, and the family he leaves behind.

•Hin’s urn and memorial arrangements, so he can be honored with dignity and peace
•Support for his sisters, Onca and Zax, who shared their lives and bond with him
•Care and stability during this grieving transition, as I navigate life without my constant companion
Hin wasn’t just my dog — he was my anchor, my protector, my emotional support, and my family. As a profoundly deaf individual, our bond went far beyond words. We communicated through trust, presence, and unconditional love.
His sisters, Onca and Zax, are still here — and in many ways, they carry Hin’s spirit forward. Supporting them is a way of letting his love continue to live on.
