Major Jason Watson’s Stand 4 Democracy FBO His Legal Defense

Major Watson had his Article 32 hearing yesterday and both he and his attorneys felt that it went well. Informational updates were posted to the Substack account. Because we are still receiving requests to keep this campaign running we have collectively agreed to do so. In addition we will be creating a separate campaign to start raising money to support his children, ages 5 and 7, as we are anticipating that he will be soon losing his income so please look for that to share widely. An absolute huge thank you from not only Team Watson but from Jason himself for the amazing outpouring of support for all of this.

In addition, we have received an amazingly generous offer on behalf of a world-renowned artist who has created a custom painting of Major Watson in uniform that she would like to donate to us to auction off with all of the proceeds going to support his children. It will be structured so that all offers will be written/verbal with only the winner having to pay based on their offer. Some of this artist’s custom work have sold in the range of $25,000 so her generosity is much appreciated by all of us. A COA and a letter of thanks from Major Watson will be included so please look for that update here as it will also be going out on multiple platforms as well.

I spoke to Major Watson earlier today and he is in good spirits. He has an Article 32 hearing scheduled for this coming Friday at 1:30pm ET at which point we will know how the USAF will be proceeding with his case.

Within the next few days we will be suspending the legal defense fund campaign, at his request, and creating a Trust campaign to benefit his children as we are expecting a loss of salary in the near future.

Major Jason Watson was formally charged by the Air Force on Monday, August 24, 2026:

UCMJ Article 88 (Contempt Towards Officials, Article specific for military officers) x3.

UCMJ Article 92 (Failure to Obey a Lawful Order) x5.

UCMJ Article 133 (Conduct Unbecoming an Officer) x2.

As a result, the decision was made to keep him in custody until his court martial or resolution (pleas). His legal teams are working diligently so we need your continued help. Every dollar is going towards his legal defense and every dollar is appreciated. If you are not in a position to donate we truly understand but if you could still share this with everyone you know that is appreciated just as much.

The size of the dog in the fight is all of us behind him.

We are at 38 days since Major Watson spoke on the steps at the US Capitol and the lack of news and informational updates have pushed his story way down and we who support him believe this to be by design. The gag order is still in place, the investigation continues with virtually no public information released, but that does not mean his case has stopped on either side. His legal teams are still hard at work and Major Watson is doing well. We are resolute in our support for him and we are grateful for not just those who have supported him financially but also those who have kept this crowdfunding campaign out front. Please continue to do so as this fight is far from over. Thank you!
