I’m Terry, and life has been quite a journey lately. After becoming homeless, my wife and I have been moving constantly between camping spots here in Damascus, Virginia & surrounding areas. We've been fortunate to find bits of warmth and kindness along the way. Our little family wouldn’t be complete without our small, 9-year-old dog, who has been a source of comfort and joy amid the uncertainty.
Every day is a new challenge, filled with the basic struggle for shelter and security. Yet, amidst the changes, there are moments of quiet joy when our dog curls up at our feet or when my wife and I share a laugh despite everything. These moments remind us of what we're fighting for: a stable, warm place to call home again. We’re hoping to reach our goal of $250 to get a little closer to that stability, so we can rest easier knowing our family has a place to call home again.
