Josh has been a hard working member of the BAC LOCAL 15 brick layers union for over ten years. He is a loyal and dedicated father and husband. He is an avid outdoorsman. All of which, give him the biggest sense of pride. He would give the shirt off of his back if asked.
In the 25 years I have known him, there is one thing I have never seen, his true smile. Something that most take for granted.
He has suffered with dental issues for years. He has frequent and reoccurring infections that go deep into his sinuses and even make the dentists afraid to touch him. They all agree on one thing, he needs his teeth taken out. Absess teeth can kill a person and is a very painful and embarrassing thing to deal with.
He has seen several specialists and he would ultimately like his teeth removed and replaced with dental implants/dentures.
Unfortunately even with the severity of his condition, medical insurance does not cover this as they consider it "cosmetic"
His dental insurance doesn't cover much, It wouldn't even cover the full cost of the extractions he needs to get started. He has been to multiple dentists, including the "affordable denture" places and hes been quoted a minimum of 10k and a maximum of 65k.
My hope for him is we can raise enough money to allow him at least the bare minimum treatment he needs, to regain his health, and his confidence.
I would love to be able to see him actually smile (without hiding his teeth) and to actually be able to eat the things he wants!
Please help me make this dream come true! It would literally be life changing!
