We are reaching out to ask for your urgent prayers, love, and support for Irvin Charles—a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated semi-truck driver and his wife, Charlesetta Charles.
Last week, while working on the road, Irvin suffered a catastrophic medical emergency, experiencing both a heart attack and a stroke. This led to his truck colliding with a tree, requiring him to be urgently airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center-
Tupelu( hospital in Tupelo) far from their home in Atlanta, Georgia.
Irvin is currently in critical condition in the ICU, placed in a sedated coma on a ventilator to support his heart and breathing. He is bravely fighting off serious complications, including meningitis and fluid buildup around his brain connected to his initial stroke, which recently triggered seizures. Due to his fragile state, doctors are severely limited in the procedures they can safely perform right now. Irvin faces a long, tough road to recovery that will require extensive ongoing therapy.
Charletta has been steadfast by Irvin's side in Mississippi, but being away from home has created an overwhelming financial burden. They are currently struggling to manage expenses for two locations, travel and temporary lodging costs, incoming medical bills, and lost income while Charlesetta stays at his bedside unable to work.
