Elizabeth Ann Seton (Mother Seton), born in 1774, for whom Seton Hall University is named, devoted her life to defending, protecting, and educating disadvantaged young women. Mother Seton was a selfless guardian throughout her life. Onward Setonia created a Guardian member subscription, to pay tribute to the outstanding accomplishments of Mother Seton.
The Guardian membership was created to honor Mother Seton and our 1989 Men’s Basketball program.
