Mission Working Dogs' goal and mission is to provide service dogs for people living with disabilities so they can live more independently. They also use therapy dogs to raise the mental well-being of those in nursing homes, hospitals, and schools.
When Brian and Lisa decided to support an organization impacting the community where they were married, it was no surprise that Mission Working Dogs resonated immediately. In addition to being longtime dog lovers, they both saw a significant lift in their mental wellness when they started fostering dogs in 2020, and now credit their foster fail, Amy, for maintaining it. Also, the significant role and impact dogs have had for friends and family has been top of mind since they lost some great pups this year (RIP Eleanor, Felix, Stella, and Jack).
Brian and Lisa are excited to support MWD’s goals and feel blessed to be able to flip the traditional request for wedding gifts to give back. No donation is too small (or big 😁), so we hope you'll think about what you might have spent on us if we’d done a traditional registry and give that to Mission Working Dogs instead.
Thanks in advance for your support!
