One of my fellow friends who is a fellow pinup sister of mine was robbed by gunpoint in her home with her family by two men the other day. Her daughter met a male off of Snapchat and they went on a date. They met in a mutual location. She had her location settings on. He was able to tell where she lived because of this. He came to her home with another man and held a gun to their heads while robbing them of everything ; possessions, cash, purses, bank accounts, everything! They even drained their bank accounts immediately. So, they have have nothing. I can't even imagine what they are going through trying to rebuild finances while trying to feel even remotely safe.
So, I'm asking friends, friends of friends, the pinup community, family, and anyone else to help out someone during a tough and tragic time. If it was your mom, sister, girlfriend, fiance, aunt, or anyone else you'd want people to help them too. Every little bit help ; even a dollar. It all adds up.
Also, be careful of people out there and be careful of the settings on all your phone's apps.
