Hello, my name is Nancy.
I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help, but I am reaching out because my family is facing an urgent situation. I am currently going through a separation from my soon-to-be ex-husband, and I have discovered that my home's roof is in much worse condition than I realized.
After a recent heavy rain, water poured into my daughter's bedroom like a waterfall. Each time it rains, the leaks become worse, and mold continues to spread throughout the area. My youngest daughter has asthma, and I'm deeply concerned about the impact the mold could have on her health. Until the roof is repaired and the mold is properly addressed, she may not be able to safely stay in her room—or even in our home.
I work full-time and have been saving every dollar I can toward the repairs, but with school starting and the rising cost of everyday expenses, I simply cannot keep up. I am trying my best to provide a safe home for my children, but this unexpected expense is more than I can manage on my own.
