My dog Ayrie was recently attacked and suffered severe damage to his leg. After emergency care and vet evaluations, we were given devastating news — the only way to save his life is to amputate his leg.
Ayrie isn’t just a dog. He’s family. He’s my loyal companion, my comfort on hard days, and the one who’s always there with a wagging tail no matter what life throws at me. Seeing him in pain has been one of the hardest things I’ve experienced.
The injuries are too severe to repair. Without surgery, the infection and complications could become life-threatening. With the amputation, the vets are confident Ayrie can still live a full, happy life. Dogs are incredibly resilient — they adapt, they heal, and they keep loving.
The cost of surgery, medication, and aftercare is more than I can manage on my own right now. I’m asking for help to give Ayrie the second chance he deserves.
Every donation — no matter the size — goes directly toward his surgery and recovery. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping Ayrie in your prayers.
Thank you for helping me fight for my best friend. I truly believe he still has so much life left to live.
With gratitude,
John
