With a very heavy heart, the family of my best friend (for 25yrs) has asked me to tell her story. I chose this type of funding to help her because it is as close to instant as it gets and she needs help right now. Ok..so here goes...Jonda is going through a long-awaited and even longer-deserved divorce.  On May 15, 2022 Jonda's grandson passed away in a tragic drowning while fishing with family. It was the biggest blow to a family that anyone can go through. Everyone knows you're never supposed to bury your grandchildren. So that took her happiness away once again, God rest little Leo's soul🤍 Plans were made, tears were (and still are) shed, memories were made and it is time to recover. Unfortunately that is not how it turned out. In the early morning hours, on Saturday June 4, 2022, Jonda called me and said "I'm watching my apartment burn to the ground". 😳 I jumped up and grabbed coffee, got dressed, kissed my husband and my dogs goodbye and I flew to be by my best friends side while she lost everything she had. There were very few items we recovered that we hope will be okay once dried out but what wasn't burned was destroyed by water. Now here's the best part about this...Jonda has a brand new job starting on June 27, 2022 and she lost all her money in the fire. She really needs all the help she can get now before she starts her new job. It is a possible work from home position due to her medical condition and covid being a health risk so this plead for help is an emergency situation. We aren't and never have ever asked for handouts, but this family has had one death after another, one illness after another and they only have each other.
