The Civil Rights Pilgrimage Trip was a service trip to further expand the knowledge of what students may have not known about the Civil Rights movement and give a fun educational venture outside of a typical history class. This is executed by going to different historic locations such as the Edmund Pettus Bridge located in Selma, Alabama and a well-known southern restaurant named Mary Mac's Tea Room located in Altanta, GA which contains a lot of cultural-traditional delicious foods. This was a interesting and cool way to further learn about both areas history, foods, traditions, and the impacts a lot of activist had during the time period of the Civil Rights Movement.
