Ashley’s Journey: Be the Miracle This Family Needs
URGENT HELP NEEDED — Local Family in Crisis
I’m reaching out on behalf of an elderly grandmother who is the full-time caregiver for her mentally adult daughter, who has Stage 2 Cancer and is being discharged home today while they wait for an opening in inpatient physical therapy.
This family is in immediate crisis. Their basic medical and daily living needs are not being met, and they are trying to care for her at home with almost no support.
They are in urgent need of:
- Food (any groceries or meals)
- Incontinence products
- XL puppy pads
- Hospice sheets
- 2–3X hospital gowns
- 3X adult diapers
- Disinfectant wipes
- Disposable gloves
- Trash bags
- Disposable masks
- Any other home-care or hygiene supplies
This grandmother is doing everything she can, but she is overwhelmed. She is also raising her two grandchildren, ages 3 and 14, while caring for her medically fragile daughter.
