As many of you know, I recently experienced what I believe was unfair and discriminatory treatment that led to my termination from Trinity Health. I’ve shared my full, detailed story on my Facebook page for those who would like to understand everything that has happened.
After months of feeling ignored when I voiced concerns, experiencing retaliation, and going through a very difficult termination process, I’ve made the decision to move forward with filing a discrimination lawsuit. I believe no one — regardless of race — should feel unheard, mistreated, or retaliated against in their workplace.
In order to proceed, I need to secure a civil attorney, and the retainer fee is $1,500. Due to losing my job and still covering housing, utilities, and daily living expenses, I simply do not have the financial ability to cover this cost on my own within the timeframe required.
I am humbly asking for support from my community. If 300 people were willing to donate just $5 — or even $1 to $5 — it would help me reach my goal and move forward with seeking justice.

This has been one of the hardest seasons of my life, but I believe in standing up not only for myself, but for equal treatment in the workplace for everyone.
