Have you ever loved somebirdy so much it makes you cry? I think we all have… Right now, my somebirdy, Emma, is in critical condition at the emergency veterinary hospital of Grapevine, TX. My sweet, but sometimes sour, baby girl cannot breathe properly right now due to either a severe infection that has blocked her trachea, or has perhaps swallowed something…but her doctor, a leading avian (bird) specialist in north Texas, believes it’s an infection. This doctor also thinks Emma has a fighting chance to make it through this. She can barely keep her head upright, or her eyes open, but still becomes insatiably ravenous at the sight of a peanut. She’d do anything for a peanut. Anything. Any peanut. Peanut. She’s my peanut. If she still wants to eat, she still wants to live!!!! I can’t give up on her. She’s my light, and my joy, shes my frustration, and my entertainment. She is, at least to me, the most beautiful bird in the sky-she might be for you too. She is mine and I am hers-kinda creepy but also kinda serious…parrots bond with their owners like we humans do with each other. She loves me and I cannot tell you how much I love her. From the bottom of my Emma (heart), Please, please, please help….PLEASE HELP me collect funds needed to provide her imperative medical attention and treatment. If it cannot be help in the form of financial assistance, PLEASE still help. Please help pass this along to anyone that you think might be able to help Emma and I right now. If no one comes to mind, and youre still considering if you can or are able to help, please, please, please, GOD PLEASE, pray for her. For us.
