It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to all, Caleb Edward Youket, 37, who went to be with Jesus on April 2, 2025.
Caleb was born on March 31,1988, in Binghamton, NY to Edward and Kim Youket. Caleb was an adventurer at heart, always drawn to the thrill of new experiences and the joy of living fully. He had a remarkable ability to excel at whatever he set his mind to and a sense of humor that kept those around him smiling. His love for music and cooking weren’t just hobbies—they were passions he pursued with skill and heart. Caleb completed a culinary arts program at Victory Trade School in Springfield, Missouri, a testament to his dedication and talent. But above all, Caleb’s heart beat for community, and in everything he did, he brought people together. While in Teen Challenge, he not only completed the program but also led a ministry that helped other men connect, grow, and find strength in their own journeys. Caleb loved God and carried a sensitivity to the movement of the Spirit. It was this spiritual connection, combined with his warmth and compassion, that made him such a beloved friend.
Caleb is survived by his parents; Edward and Kim Youket; siblings Joshua Youket, Aaron (Samantha) Youket, and Stefanie (Jon) Vandermark; nieces and nephews Tyler, Kayleigh, Aleah, Alexander, Sofia, Vivi, Ellie, and Kamryn; and bonus brother Phil Errigo, as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who find comfort in knowing that he is now whole and healed in the presence of Jesus alongside his maternal grandparents; Paul Gregory Stopper and Nancy Wagner Stopper as well as several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of Caleb’s life and faith will be held at Caltab Church at 729 Main St Vestal, NY on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 10:00a. The service will be led by Pastor Tim Haller and will include a luncheon to follow. All who knew Caleb are welcome to join his family in this time of remembrance of his life.
