Hi, my name is Alexis, and I’m reaching out with a heart heavy with love, fear, and hope. My dad has always been the rock of our family — strong, kind, and the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. But now, he’s the one who needs help.
Recently, our lives were turned upside down when my dad was hospitalized. Watching someone you love fight through something so scary and uncertain is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. While the doctors are working hard to help him heal, we’re preparing for the long road ahead — a road filled with unexpected challenges, both emotional and financial.
When my dad is finally able to come home, he’s going to need special accommodations to help him recover comfortably and safely. That includes changes to our living space, and other essential support for his day-to-day life.
On top of that, I’m doing everything I can to keep up with our bills and living expenses while also being there for my family — especially my daughter, who adores her grandfather more than anything in the world. But it’s been incredibly overwhelming, and I’ve reached a point where I have to be honest: we need help.
Every single donation — no matter the size — will go toward making sure my dad comes home to a place filled with love, safety, and stability. It will also help lift the weight of the financial burden we’re carrying so we can focus on what truly matters: his recovery and being there for each other.
