On September 15th I was in a wreck, my son who is 12 and my daughter who is 4 were in the car with me. My son busted his knee, he is okay! My daughter walked away with not a scratch on her! The man hit me on the left side which was my side, I was driving! My daughter was also on the side that he hit.  All airbags deployed, how my daughter got so lucky and did not get hit with the airbag🙌🏼  And also my son being so lucky and just busted his knees up, God had his arms wrapped around all three of us that day. I was  at a stop sign, pulled out after I looked both ways did not see this car and when I pulled out I got smashed, blacked out for approximately 5 to 10 minutes not real sure how long I was out honestly. We were on a 25mph neighborhood road and this man was at least going 50 to 55 not real sure but I do know he was not going 25.  When I was out of it all I could hear was this man outside my car yelling and cussing and I woke up to a cop in my car  seeing if I was okay and trying to get me out of the car, all while I was not responsive in the very beginning when I got hit, my son got out of the car and got his baby sister out and called 911, when I was able to wake up and get out of the car I was starting to come back to my normal self I see my son was bleeding on his knees he said he was ok than I picked up my daughter she was crying and very scared and the guy that hit me was still yelling and cussing, I'm not sure what he was saying or trying to do my head was pounding at this point after being hit by a 250 mph airbag to the side of my face but he was walking towards me cussing at me and the cop told him he needed to go back to his car.  I wasn't even sure what happened at the time all I know is I got hit really hard and my car is now totaled.  Considering I had a stop sign and he didn't, I'm at fault which I never denied. It was a tragic accident that could have been worse than it was. "My insurance is paying for his car" but not mine, i only had liability because honestly that's all I could afford at the time. The guy on his porch who seen the wreck did run to my car and seen if we were ok but like I said I was blacked out, the guy said I opened my eyes but I do not remember even seeing him but my son said he did check on me seen I opened my eyes and knew the cops were already on their way. After I was to my normal self again the guy who checked on me were talking to one of the cops and him and my son both told the cop that the guy who hit me NEVER once checked on me to see if any of us was ok. Just said he was cussing and yelling the whole time. Then told the cop that, that man is always speeding on that road daily.  The man On the porch realized the man who hit me was not checking to see if I was ok that's when he ran over to check on me. I'm doing okay, I'm a little sore but My kids and I are alive and that's all I care about! But the man who hit me could not even be a decent human being for a couple of seconds to make sure my children and I were okay.... the guy is very well known here in our town, he's a business man and owns his own company, but sinse I've told my story a lot of ppl said he was a heartless man, not really sure why but I hope god wraps his arms around that mans heart, he could have killed all of us that day exp with how fast he was going! I'm not blaming this man for what happened I'm blaming him for not being a decent human being and going so fast on a 25 mph road  I'm not asking for handouts but I'm not afraid or ashamed to ask for help!!!!! My car is totaled, I have to pay outta pocket and honestly, I don't have that kinda money. I have 3 children, I am a single mother with only one income, we live pay check to pay check just like a lot of other ppl do in this world,  I need a vehicle as soon as possible and I don't need anything fancy! My car was paid off, very nice car not very many miles on it at all. it was all I had that I have to show for in life and just like that it's totaled😩! I realized that day that it's so very important to always wear your seatbelt no matter how far you are driving. Luckily we all had our seatbelts on that day. I realized how much, is as drivers have got to always pay attention, double look when you are crossing or stoped at a stop sign, always double look, Never be on your phone while driving either "I was not on my phone" driving is scary and it's so important to pay attention to your surroundings and always double look.  I looked one time my left then my right and I never seen this man coming and I have really good eyes. When I got hit I thought I was dead, I thought my life was done I felt nothing, when I woke up all I coukd think about were my children and how blessed I was to be alive.    I still have to work, I still have to get my 3 children to school who all go to different schools and transportation is important in life and I'm beyond stressed out.  I just need help. I thought maybe this was a good option, not for anyone to feel sorry for me, this happens daily to ppl I'm just asking for a little help.  And if I can't reach that goal, everything will still be okay!!!! I've never really had something traumatic happen to me in life but this wreck I had was so very scary for me and it's hurt me financially and took away my transportation it definitely taught me to always double look, never be in a hurry to drive.
