Hello, my name is Jody, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friends, Chuck and Delilah. Chuck suffered a stroke a few years back, which left him with memory issues and limited mobility. As if that wasn't challenging enough, he recently endured a heart attack, spending two weeks in the hospital where he had four stents placed in his heart. Delilah was by his side every moment she could be, making daily drives to visit him in rehabilitation, even when she couldn't stay the night.
Living in Lake City, Florida, has always been about community and friendship for Chuck. Before his health took a turn, he was the kind of person who would drop everything to help a neighbor or friend in need. Watching him and Delilah navigate these overwhelming health struggles without enough support has been heart-wrenching. Their resilience and love for each other are inspiring, yet the financial burden has become difficult to bear.
