Hola amigos!
My name is Doug Shea. I am raising money for a group of adorable niños y niñas, who either live in or spend most of their day in a tiny little church orphanage on the outskirts of Juarez, Mexico.
I first me these beautiful children 3 years ago on a mission trip to the the Mexican border town.
The presence of warring drug cartels in the area has made their neighborhood extremely poor and has left many children with no parents or parents that cannot afford school or food for their children.
the church and orphanage houses several boys and girls and also provides a safe place for over 50 children in the neighborhood where daily meals are provided and a safe haven where they can do their homework.
After my first visit I couldn't help but fall in the love with these wonderful kids, who manage to find happiness even in the midst of tragedy and a daily threat of violence....
So I came back.
and I came back again and again. Because more than anything, these beautiful kids need to know that they are in fact worthy of love, and that others may abandon them but I will not and neither will Hearts Without Borders here in Venice, Florida. Who has been supporting these children and their community for over ten years.
But despite our best efforts the drug cartel's grip on the city continues to grow and create more orphans in the wake of their violent wars. These children need more help. They need you!
How can you help them? Well, I'm glad you asked. You can directly help them in two ways.
1. Visit Heartswithoutborders.org and donate or email my wonderful friends Annette and Bob Perkins and ask them how you can contribute.
2. Donate to this fund, which is a fund I am starting separately but will still go directly to these children. Let me quickly explain.
As I've said for the last three years I have been visiting these kiddos every 6 months and every time I visit I usually spend $500-$1000 and bring them a giant suitcase of toys, books, art supplies, and stuffed animals. And sometimes if I can, I stock up the orphanage pantry. Usually, I do this with my own money but this time I wanted to give my friends and family the opportunity to join me and share in this wonderful blessing.

These children have so little, and we have so much! They can't even comprehend how rich we are and they literally live 20 mins from the United States. Help me remind them they are loved and bring a joyful giggle to an adorable child today!
Those who donate will get exclusive photos of the kids recieving their gifts 💙
