Abaddon is our sweet 2 year old foster fail❤️ On Saturday 02/14, I got a call from my wife that Abaddon was hurt and his leg was definitely broken. The first vet she took him to said they couldn’t help, they wouldn’t even look at him. So I left work early and we rushed him to an actual ER for animals.
We thought he would just need a little cast and time to heal. When the Vet came in we were not prepared for the news we were about to hear. The break was worse than we thought and they gave us 2 options.
Surgery to repair the bone - The risk of complications was too high for us to consider this as an option. This left us with amputation of the limb. Both vets said if he was their dog, this is what they would do. On top of that, he needs the surgery within 5-7 days.
I lost my job unexpectedly and was out of work for 2 months so our finances aren’t what they used to be. The vet bills are a lot more than we expected and there’s no time to save for them. We need your help to get Abaddon his surgery asap.
