Two weeks ago Russell Rains was involved in a power line accident. He is unable to work due to injuries sustained from the accident. His family is asking for any and all help as Russ is always willing to help others in a moments notice.
Russ is very active in the community, volunteering in various ways as well as currently serving as Senior Vice Commander of our local VFW. He has served in many positions at the VFW and has been a part of the Commodity Program ever since he was a young boy. Russ has also been a big part of Boy Scouts by first earning the title of Eagle Scout and then in later years becoming a leader for our local Troop. He is a willing soul and is always eager to lend a helping hand to someone in need.
Russ and his family are needing help with monthly bills, food, and other living expenses. Medical bills are starting to come in from his time spent in the hospital and then of course Christmas for the kiddos is looking pretty bleak and out of reach at this point.
Any and all help you are able to offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your prayers for Russell and his family at this time. We are thanking the Good Lord for giving us more time with Russ.
