I’m starting this fundraiser for my best friend and her children, who are going through one of the hardest times of their lives. She is a devoted mother who has always put her kids first, but right now she needs our community’s love and support to make it through.
Recently, she lost her home due to an abusive ex who not only terrorized her but also made the environment unsafe for her neighbors. With no choice but to leave, she gathered what little she could for her children. Sadly, the strangers who offered to “help” her move turned out not to be a blessing, but another devastating setback, they stole nearly all of her kids’ belongings, leaving them with almost nothing.
Since then, she has been fighting every day to protect her children and keep them together. A kind friend opened their doors for a short time, but when that living situation didn’t work out, the electricity was cut off and the family was forced to leave once again. Now, this mother and her kids are homeless, doing their best to stay safe while she searches desperately for stable housing near the city.
No child should have to worry about where they’ll sleep at night, or go without clean clothes and the simple necessities every kid deserves. And no mother should have to carry this burden alone. That’s why we’re coming together to ask for your help.

Clothes, shoes, and toiletries for her children, so they can feel comfortable, clean, and confident while she rebuilds stability for their lives.

She is one of the strongest women and mothers I know, but even the strongest need a hand to lift them up. Together, we can give this family not only safety and comfort but also hope for a fresh start.
