UPDATE:

Cuki is home!! 🥰 His procedure went well and he will hopefully be fully healed soon. We will be monitoring him closely for the next 2 weeks to make sure that he doesn’t re-obstruct, that he’s peeing normally, and is healing more each day. He is at higher risk for more blockages/continued urinary issues so he will be on a prescription urinary diet from now on and will get another urinalysis in a few weeks to make sure that the food is dissolving his urinary crystals and preventing new ones from forming. We are optimistic and hopeful that this was a one time occurrence and that things will return to normal soon. 🩵

The total for his hospital stay came out to $3979 - Much better than the estimated $6000!! 🥹 We took out loans to cover the bill and will be paying those off for a few months, but we are just grateful we had that option and that he got the care he needed.

We are so so so thankful to everyone who donated and/or shared this to help Cuki. He is our sweet baby cucumber and we want nothing more than for him to be comfortable and happy, so it means so much that we have such special people in our lives that love him too. 🫶🏻

—————————————————————————————

Our sweet baby boy Cuki has been diagnosed with a severe urinary blockage and needs immediate hospitalization. The veterinarians have been clear that without this urgent intervention, his situation could become critical.

The estimated cost of his treatment is daunting, around $6,000, which is currently beyond what we can manage. This unexpected expense hit us hard, and I'm reaching out for help in this crucial moment. Your support will ensure he receives the care he desperately needs right now. We’re committed to bringing him back home healthy and full of life, and any assistance in making this possible is incredibly appreciated. Thank you 🫶🏻🩵
