Eva is a 3.5 y.o. husky mix full of love and energy. She hikes and bikes with me, loves to swim, and hang out with her sister, Rory. I adopted her when she was a puppy. When I adopted her she had a runny nose and cough. Over the last 3 years, she has been to 5 different vets to try and diganose her. She was diagnosed with allergies and went through many unsuccessuful treatments. Recently, she was diagnosed with inner ear infections and was on a long stint of antiobiots, which helped a little at the beginning but then she went back to coughing. Her coughing episodes have gotten worse and she has become lathargic to the point where she can't hike and bike with me. She coughs almost every night. It wakes her up, and me. She sleeps in my bed with me. Sometimes she coughs so hard she throws up. My vet told me that she has damanged bony spurs in her respitory track from coughing for so long. I have spent well over $4000 at vets and now I am going to see a specialist. I know this vist it going to be in the thousands. I am hoping to raise enough to cover her specialist visit, treatments, and the recent CT scan and vet vists.
Eva is the sweetest dog. She loves everyone. She is so happy when she meets new humans to pet her and new dog friends to play with. She use to go on 20 mile hike and bike rides with me. I just want her to be healthy and happy.
