I go by Alexis and I am a mom of four amazing children, a wife to a supportive husband, a full-time Esthetician, and full-time Nursing student. I began my nursing school journey back in July of 2022, and was prepared and hopeful! Unfortunately, I suffered a car accident and was struck on the driver side pushing passenger side on to a lamp post leaving me on the side walk. I have been in severe pain and in debt since. My paid off car was totaled forcing me to purchase a new car and with this new expense my school payments ended up falling behind. I currently would have to drop out of school if I don't get ahead on my payments. Unfortunately my husband and I have tried to go over our finances and find some sort of solution, but me being out of work since the accident and just finally getting back to work in October it has been a rough couple of months. I do have financial aid however, I am responsible for over $12,000 a year. I hate to even have to ask for help, but if I have to drop out of school I know how discouraged I will get and feel like I failed my family. I hope to get back on track with my payments and hopefully be your nurse one day. I thank everyone very much for taking the time to read this and considering donating, or donating.
