Hello family and friends! My name is Lokela Blanc, and I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to represent the beautiful island of Saint Lucia in this year’s Miss Caribbean LA 2025 pageant. Being apart of this competition has allowed me to gain a deeper connection to my culture, promote important causes surrounding health and wellness in Caribbean communities, and inspire others to follow their passions with dedication and hope.
More than just a pageant…
In addition to celebrating the beauty of my culture, winning this competition would provide me with a platform to advocate for causes I am passionate about, specifically the promotion of daily positive health and wellness practices for Black women.
As Black women, we are 60% more likely to suffer from chronic illnesses such as heart disease and hypertension, both of which run in my family.
By focusing on holistic approaches and cultivating positive physical, mental and emotional well-being, I believe we can empower Black women to prioritize self-care and embrace healthy lifestyles, ultimately fostering a strong sense of confidence and resilience.
Through initiatives such as workshops, support networks, and awareness campaigns, I would aim to inspire women to make health and wellness an integral part of their daily lives.

Over the next few weeks, your generous support will directly contribute to key areas that ensure my success in this pageant:
Custom Pageant Wardrobe & Styling – $2,500
These funds will be dedicated to creating tailored outfits for various pageant segments, including evening gowns and talent performance attire. Crafted by skilled stylists, these high-quality pieces will ensure I stand out on stage and feel empowered while representing my island with confidence.
Hair, Makeup & Beauty Essentials – $1,000
Your support will help fund professional makeup, hairstyling, and skincare products to maintain a polished look throughout the competition, ensuring I present my best self with confidence at all times.
Pageant Accessories & Props – $500
This will cover the cost of essential competition accessories such as shoes, jewelry, performance props, and other necessary styling pieces to help me during the talent portion and other segments.
Personal Media & Marketing Efforts – $500
Your contribution will support the creation of promotional materials for social media marketing, helping to expand my reach and enhance visibility for both myself and my sponsors throughout this journey.
