Gender Affirming Care saves lives!
And it’s my turn once again. On Easter Monday, I will be getting a long awaited Hysterectomy! With that comes some hurtles and I want to make sure I can maintain my financial responsibilities during this “not-supposed-to-be-stressful-but-fun” time! Additionally, I will be having another surgery on an injury in a couple months, unrelated, but equally as brutal on my ability to work.
Part of what we are looking to pay for are legal documents! Kate and I need to get the full service for Pride Planning legal services! These documents make sure that even if marriage equality gets overturned, she has full access to me in hospitals, and we maintain many of our rights as a couple. With the state of the world, we know these are important to have as things are changing every instant.
Another chunk of the funds raised will go to being able to put our Butter boy in boarding for my initial recovery. Being able to board him is the absolute best. We love knowing that he is safe, cared for, and having a blast!
We will also be purchasing groceries and other miscellaneous things, to make sure I have what I need to recover!
