Our current house conditions have, since February 15th of 2021, been literally illegal and unfit for "safe" living conditions. We have hot water in only the small bathroom sink. Water pressure in the shower and kitchen sink (again, with no hot water at either) is at about 25% normal of its normal pressure, which makes it nearly impossible to wash... ourselves or the dishes. Also since that day, our toilet will flush, but only when WE manually fill the tank, one gallon at a time. Even prior to the multiple pipes busting (which the landlord is unable to fix with us still living here) our bedroom wall, at the point where it meets the wall, has a 1.5 inch gap that we can feel the temperature and wind of the outside air. This gap goes around nearly the full wall of our room, and has also progressed into Adam's room... we know this is because the ground is settling, and the foundation has started to drop. There are other situations in this house, as well (multiple areas of flooring that have needed repair, an A/C that is over 30 years old and no longer functioning properly, windows don't properly open, $800 electric bills monthly, currently over $3,000 water bills MONTHLY, no back screen door, and  yes... more.)

With our current financial/income situation, we have been limited on our choices/alternatives for living arrangements. We needed a new home. Our home has been gone for quite some time... this is just a house.

Well folks....... we have a new home!!!!!!!!! On Cayuga in Granite City!!! It's a 3 Bedroom, 1 Bath WITH a basement... for almost exactly the same we're paying now?! The LEASE is SIGNED!!! The only problems at this moment are two...
1. We still have to get through the "official" stuff (inspections, deposits, utilities changed, etc.) which could take a few days.
2. We are going to be very, very, very right on our financial ability to make this move possible.

And PS to those who have asked or commenting... YES, there WILL very likely be a lawsuit in play AFTER we have moved.

We ARE moving into this house! If you can spare a $1, $10, $100, $1000... ANYTHING that ANYONE could do to help with the financial situation? You have NO idea the full measure of your help to LITERALLY our physical, mental, emotional AND financial health. All of which? Right now? Very poor because of this house. PLEASE help us get OUT?
